This course covers the most common standardized tests for the characterisation of soils and rocks, made when undertaking a geotechnical study of a public work or building.
The course is divided into three parts: the first describes trials of soils, in the second characteristic of rocks trials and, finally, describes operations complementary to the trials as the preparation of thin films or the execution of a geotechnical survey process.
This course is design, calculation, testing and construction of the structures made with structural concrete. It focuses mainly on those of reinforced concrete and is supported by the Spanish structural concrete instruction, known as EHE-08.
