The COMMITTEE OF QUALITY of the program of Doctorate would be composed by the following members of the Academic Commission:

  • Roberto Tomás Jover, Coordinator of the Line of Investigation of Engineering of the Terrain, Hydraulic and Transports.
  • Salvador Ivorra Chorro, Coordinator of the Line of Investigation of Engineering of the Structures.
  • Enrique José Nieto Fernández, Coordinator of the Line of Investigation of Architecture and Urbanismo Sustainable.

 

RESEARCH TOPICS

This Doctorate Program consists of four research topics:

SYLLABUS

In addition to the compulsory activities for all the students, includes the following OPTIONAL activity for the students of the Program of Doctorate

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Stays in Universities and Centres of Upper Investigation.

BASIC DATA Nº OF HOURS: 150

  • Activity of specific training, of optional character along the doctorate, consistent in the mobility of the doctorando to a University or Centre of distinct upper Investigation to that in which it finds enrolled for the realisation of tasks of investigation related with his subject of thesis. It will boost , whenever it was possible, the realisation of this activity.

PROCEDURE OF EVALUATION:

Will have to present the supporting certificate of the stay issued by the responsible unit of the stay in the University or Centre of Investigation.

The evaluation will realise by part of the Academic Commission in base to the results obtained in the centre of destination

The profiles recommended of access to the present Program of Doctorate are the following:

  • BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Engineering of Ways, Channels and Ports
  • BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Engineering of Materials, Water and Terrain
  • BS in Civil Engineering and any of the following titles of Máster: Geological Engineering; Sustainable Gestión and
  • MS Technologies of the Water; Management and Planning of Natural Risks
  • MEng Civil Engineering and MS in Engineering of Materials, Water and Terrain
  • BEng Public Works Engineering and MS in Engineering of Materials, Water and Terrain
  • BS in Architecture and MArch
  • BS in Architecture and MS in Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning
  • Architect and MS in Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning
  • BS in Technical Architecture and MS in Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning (or MS in Engineering of Materials, Water and Terrain).
  • BS in Building Engineering and MS in Engineering of Materials, Water and Terrain (or Máster in Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning)
  • MEng Geological Engineering and MS in Engineering of Materials, Water and Terrain
  • BEng in Mining Engineering and MS in Geological Engineering
  • BS in Geology and MS in Geological Engineering

General criteria of Admission

  • Curriculum vitae of the applicant (60%).
  • Knowledge of a language of usual use in the community, especially the English (25%).
  • Personal interview with the applicant (10%).
  • Existence of recommendation letters by part of university lecturers or of other Institutions of investigation, that have direct knowledge of the capacity and competition of the applicant (5%).
